• CBSE Nationals 2025 - U19 Boys Cricket Tournament

    Vaibhav K, Shairam, Koushik D, Abhinav V, Vihaan Venkatesh, Bhadrayan Sai, Yuvan (Grade 12), Riyan Rickert (Grade 11), and Abhijay R.T (Grade 10) have reached the semifinals in the U19 Boys Cricket Tournament at Noida after winning the quarterfinals.

    • CBSE National Champions - U19 Boys Table Tennis Tournament

      R.P. Srikrishna of Grade 11 and Vishruth Ramakrishnan of Grade 10 have won the gold medal at the CBSE Nationals U19 Boys Table Tennis Tournament held in Surat. The duo emerged as the U19 Boys CBSE National Champions in the team event.

      • National Rowing Championship

        Rithika. L of class 12-C received a cash award of ₹2.25 lakhs from the Honourable Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister and Sports Minister Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin, in recognition of her gold medal at the Sub-Junior National Rowing Championship. The award was part of a total prize of ₹4.5 lakhs, presented for the team’s performance in National Rowing Championships.

        • National Rowing Championship - Junior women double scull

          Rithika. L of class 12-C has been awarded a certificate of participation for representing in the Junior Women Double Scull event at the 44th Junior National Rowing Championships held at Army Rowing Node, Pune, Maharashtra from December 1, 2024, to December 6, 2024.

          • Tamil Nadu State under 17 girls chess championship

            Ananya R of class 11 C won the Tamil Nadu State under 17 girls chess championship this year and has been selected to represent Tamil Nadu in the national under 17 girls chess championship to be held this year.

            • South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship

              Vishruth Ramakrishnan of Class 10A has made India proud by winning three Gold medals at the South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal today. He secured Gold medals in the Team event, Doubles event, and Singles event. He has achieved a 3-0 victory against Pakistan in the Singles final.

              • P.C Shekhar U-14 Cricket tournament

                In the annual P.C. Shekhar Under 14 Tournament conducted by P.S. Senior Secondary School, Vidya Mandir Mylapore clinched the title by defeating Nellai Nadar School in the finals by a margin of 17 runs on the 21st of August. The tournament, which consisted entirely of knockout matches, saw Vidya Mandir play and win four consecutive matches to claim the title. Vidya Mandir won the toss in the final and opted to bat first, and amassed a total of 148 runs in the first innings, thanks to an outstanding 53 runs scored by Akhilesh Suren of class 8. In response, Nellai Nadar was bowled out for 131 runs, with an exemplary bowling performance from Hrishikesh Karthik of Class 9, who picked up 4 wickets for 15 runs in his 6-over spell. This victory, led by Tasmai Krishnan of Class 10 and by Mr. Ravi G- the head coach of the team- marks Vidya Mandir Mylapore's first win in the history of this tournament.

                • 21st Padma Bhushan Lady Andal Memorial Inter-School Swimming Meet

                  In the recently conducted 21st Padma Bhushan Lady Andal Memorial Inter-School Swimming Meet, the following students won in the respective categories. In the under 16 girls category, Shloka( Class IX), Sahana(Class IX) and Akkshara(Class X) bagged gold in the free and medley relays. In the individual events:
                  Samyukta of class 7, won bronze medals in 25 m freestyle & 25 m butterfly
                  Sahana Sairam of class 9, won Gold in 50 fly, Silver in 50 breaststroke & Silver in 100 IM
                  Aadya Siddarth of class 10, won bronze in 50 m backstroke
                  Akkshara Mukunth of class 10, won gold in 50 m backstroke, bronze in 50 m breast & bronze in 100 IM.

                    Arya Venkatesh of class 7 secured Runners up position in the Under-12 category, Tennis Tournament held at St.Michael’s sport academy organised by Sport event management.

                    • Interschool Table Tennis tournament - U-15 Girls category

                      S.Srinidhi of Class 9C participated in the 3rd edition of SWAMI VIRJANAND SARASWATI INTER-SCHOOL Table Tennis tournament organised by D.A.V. Krida Kendram from 19th to 20th July 2024 and has emerged as the second runner-up in the U-15 Girls category.

                      • TamilNadu sports Silambam championship 2024

                        Yaaji Sai M.A of class 7 participated in TamilNadu sports Silambam championship and placed First in the category Kuthuvarisai and Maan Kombu under the Junior category, held at Montford Indoor Stadium,Chennai on 4th August, 2024.

                        • 23rd Junior Youth National WUSHU CHAMPIONSHIP - 2024

                          Rabia Zakiya A.J of class 11A has participated in Flexible Weapon event and won Silver Medal in the 23rd Junior Youth National Wushu Championship - 2024 (Men & Women) held at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tamil Nadu from 26th July to 31st July 2024 organised by Tamil Nadu Wushu Association.

                          • FIDE Guinness World Record - 24 hour Chess Marathon

                            Participating in the FIDE Guinness World Record 24-hour Chess Marathon, Srinivasan S of class 12B demonstrated exceptional skill and endurance, emerging 1st among 1365 participants from over 120 countries. As a testament to his outstanding performance, Srinivasan was awarded the prestigious "World Chess Championship Chess Set".

                            • Challengers Cup Open Karate Championship

                              In the Challengers Cup Open Karate Championship conducted by Katsu Kai Shito Ryu Sports Karate Do India on 21.07.2024, Sreejith Jaisimhan of class 8B won the gold in kumite event and bronze in kata event in the 13 year category.

                              • Winner of second TNTTA state ranking tournament

                                Sharvani, a student of class 12 won the second TNTTA state ranking tournament organized by Tamilnadu Table Tennis Association in under 19 girls and secured runner up position in the under 17 girls category and reached quarter finals in the Women's category.

                                • 1st place in Tamil Nadu Women’s State Chess Championship

                                  Ananya, a student of class 10A, has secured the 1st place in the 53rd Tamil Nadu Women’s State Chess Championship with a commendable score of 8.5 / 9 points. Ananya also scored 8 / 9 points in the 49th Tamil Nadu State Sub-Junior Girls’ Chess Championship and placed 2nd in the same. She has been selected to represent Tamil Nadu in both the Women’s National Championship and the Sub-Junior Girls' National Championship.
