"Business Battle" - PSBB KK Nagar's Commerce Culturals
In the recently concluded PSBB K.K Nagar's Commerce Culturals, 'Business Battle'- held on the 23rd of August, the students of Vidya Mandir put up a stellar performance, winning prizes in several events - 1st Prize in the Quiz, 1st Prize in Mergers & Acquisitions, 2nd Place in Lawyers Up, 2nd Place in Shark Tank, 3rd Place in Stress Interview. In the winners event, the ultimate showdown, Tasmai Krishnan of class 11, bagged the individual title 'MR. BUSINESS BATTLE' . Overall, Vidya Mandir placed 2nd.

PURANAVA QUIZ - Organized by GODI
The Puranava quiz was organized by Global Organisation for Divinity India (GODI). There were more than 60 teams and only six teams qualified to the finals. The quiz had questions from various topics such as Indian History, Indian Heritage and Indian Culture. After 6 rounds Vidya Mandir team won the 2nd place. The Vidya Mandir Team was represented by Arjun Deepak, Sarvesh and Samrudh Swaminathan of Class XI.

CV MUN 2025
Vidya Mandir participated in CVMUN 2025 (Chettinad Vidyashram), held from July 17th to 19th, with students from Grades 10 and 11 competing across committees such as UNGA, HRC, ECOSOC, and ILC. Our school delegation delivered a stellar performance, winning 4 Best Delegates, 3 High Commendations, 3 Special Mentions, and 4 Verbal Mentions. Vidya Mandir proudly emerged as the Overall Champions affirming our students’ diplomatic excellence and commitment to global discourse.

PS Amble 2025
P S Amble 2025, the Annual Commerce Fest conducted by P S Senior Secondary School, was held on the 17th and 18th of July. The fest featured competitive events in marketing, business strategy, finance and entrepreneurship. Vidya Mandir emerged victorious putting up a stellar show and securing the "Overall Championship"

On 17th and 18th of July 2025, P S Senior School, conducted its Annual Inter - School Science Fest, P S Aurix. The event saw enthusiatic participation from leading schools across the city, with a wide range of competitions, designed to test scientific acumen, logic and innovation. Vidya Mandir delivered an exceptional performance securing top positions in multiple events and clinching the Overall Championship at the event.

Sishya - MUN
In the recently concluded Sishya Model United Nations held between the 2nd and 4th of October, Vidya Mandir, Mylapore secured the distinguished Best School and Best Delegation awards in the conference. The student's outstanding performance earned them over six Best Delegate awards across nine committees, along with five additional accolades. The competition served as an enriching learning experience, with a diverse array of agendas covered and also a successful outing for the Vidya Mandir MUN Delegation.

Vidya Mandir Estancia MUN
In the recently concluded Vidya Mandir Estancia Model United Nations held on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of August, Vidya Mandir, Mylapore sent a delegation of 16 students as delegates and one executive member across 10+ committees. We finished in second place with 15 awardees. The MUN served as a great learning experience, with a diverse array of global agendas covered across the three days, further encouraging the students to take part in more of such competitions.

Genesis 2024
Sanskrithi and Shreehitha of Class 11 attended the Genesis Cultural Fest organised by Asan memorial Senior Secondary School on the 9th of August, 2024 and secured the runner-up place in the Poster-Making event.

Vizha 2024
At the Vizha Cultural Fest, organized by Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyashram on 9th and 10th of August, 2024, our school bagged the first place in Adzap and Channel Surfing and third place in Shipwreck and Quiz. Rishi M. and Sahas Sunil both advanced to and participated in the first level of the winners’ round.

CV MUN 2024
In the Model United Nations Conference conducted by Chettinad Vidyashram on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of July, 2024, Vidya Mandir’s ninth grade delegation participated in lively and competitive debates about multiple political issues in the world as well as in India. The conference had twelve committees, and of the twenty five delegates who attended, a large number secured awards and accolades. This included two ‘Best Debutante’ awards, five special mentions, and five verbal mentions.

Scintillations 2024
The Vidya Mandir Senior school sent a team to the cultural event Scintillations held by P.S Senior Secondary School on July 1st and 2nd. The students placed first in the following events: Block and Tackle, Short Film, Treasure Hunt, photography, Lawyers-Up and TED Talk. This marked our school’s first big win in cultural events for this academic year and the team performed spectacularly.

CV Ampersand 2024
Chettinad Vidyashram recently held its Annual Debate Competition, Ampersand, on the 28th and 29th of June, 2024 in which seven students from our school took part and won various accolades. In the event Stance Drafting, a team of three of our tenth graders—Ankith Karthikeyan, Krishna Menon and Vivek Anand—placed first amongst twenty other teams from various schools around Chennai. In the parliamentary debate competition, which consisted of six rounds of selection amongst over forty teams, Saanjay Senthilnathan, Vivin Kaarthic, and Tasmai Krishnan placed first. The competition proved to be a valuable learning opportunity for all those who attended it.

Kalpakosha 2024
On the 20th and 21st of June, the 12th graders of our school participated in the first cultural event of the year—Kalpakosha—at Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School. Competing against 23 schools, the students of Vidya Mandir secured the third place overall, marking a great start to the cultural events for the year.

Reverberations 2022
On the 28th and 29th of October, our school attended Reverberations- the culturals conducted by the PSBB group of schools. Being the last cultural event for the twelfth graders, this event was highly anticipated and it’s safe to say it lived up to our very high expectations. Overall, our school placed runners up.

Smaraneeyam and Comvision - Sri Sankara Sr. Sec. School Culturals - 2022
On the 29th and 30th of July, the twelfth graders attended their first ever culturals of the year- Smaraneeyam and Comvision, the cultural fiesta conducted by Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, Adyar. It was truly a delight seeing many schools participating in an offline culturals after nearly two years. Overall, Vidya Mandir bagged the Comvision title and came Runners Up in Smaraneeyam.S

Our class 8 student A. Prithika's work "Looking through the camera - Our Personal Heritage" has won the award for the best overall film in the INTACH heritage film competition.
